This is a plain-language placeholder describing how Nivodisk intends to handle your information during development. It will be replaced with a final policy before general availability.
Information we collect
Account data: your email address and an Argon2id hash of your password (we never store the plaintext). Billing data: handled by our payment provider; we store only the references needed to manage your subscription. Your files: stored to provide the service; we do not inspect their contents except as required to operate or secure the system or to comply with law.
How we use it
To provide and secure your drive, process payments, send essential account email (such as verification and password resets), and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal data.
Third parties
We use a payment processor for billing and an email provider for transactional messages. These providers receive only the minimum data needed to perform their function.
Security
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id, connections use HTTPS, and each account's files are isolated server-side. See our security page for details.
Retention and your choices
We retain your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data. Some records may be retained where required by law.
